Tanjung Selor – Dalam rangka memeriahkan Hari Raya Natal 2021, Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dan Pegawai Tidak Tetap (PTT) Nasrani Provinsi Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) melangsungkan Ibadah Perayaan Natal yang diselenggarakan pada Sabtu, (8/1). Ibadah Perayaan Natal ini dihadiri langsung oleh Wakil Gubernur (Wagub) Kaltara Yansen TP beserta istri di Gedung Pesparawi.
Turut hadir dalam perayaan ini Ketua DPRD Kaltara, Perwakilan Polda Kaltara, Perwakilan Korem 092/Maharajalila, Kapolres Bulungan, Kepala Bidang Bimbingan Masyarakat (Bimas) Kristen, dan denominasi gereja serta seluruh ASN dan PTT di Provinsi Kaltara.
Ketua Panitia Natal ASN dan PTT Provinsi Kaltara, Mikael mengatakan acara ibadah perayaan Natal ini adalah ibadah perayaan ketiga yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan Provinsi Kaltara setelah pada 2019 lalu diselenggarakan untuk yang pertama kalinya.
“Dengan tema utama dari PGPI, tujuan Ibadah Perayaan Natal ini adalah untuk menghadirkan ASN Provinsi Kaltara sebagai pemersatu masyarakat untuk berubah, maju, dan sejahtera,” ujar Mikael ketika menyampaikan laporannya.
Sesuai dengan tema yang diusung Cinta Kasih Kristus yang Menggerakan Persaudaraan, Wakil Gubernur berpesan agar para ASN agar bisa menebarkan cinta kasih sesuai dengan tema utama Natal tahun 2021.
“Kita patrikan semangat kita untuk melayani dengan kasih, menciptakan kebaikan dan berlomba-lomba untuk menebarkan kasih, saling tolong menolong, gotong royong, dan melakukan aksi kemanusiaan atas dasar persaudaraan dan rakhmat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa,” jelasnya.
Yansen pun mengatakan bahwa keberagaman Kaltara yang memiliki berbagai macam ras, suku, dan agama patut disyukuri. Perbedaan itulah yang akan menyatukan masyarakat Kaltara yang cinta damai.
“Dengan kebersamaan yang tulus kita dorong menjadi kekuatan hidup masyarakat Kaltara, kita ciptakan Kaltara yang berubah, maju, dan sejahtera melalui perbuatan dan kebersamaan,” pungkasnya.
