BorneoNewsJournalist.co.id, Tarakan – Anggota Komisi VII DPR RI dari Fraksi Partai Gerindra, Hj. Rahmawati, S.H., mendorong adanya transparansi dalam pelaksanaan program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) oleh perusahaan-perusahaan yang beroperasi di Kota Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara.
Menurut Rahmawati, transparansi tersebut penting untuk memastikan bahwa dana CSR benar-benar memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat, khususnya yang berada di sekitar wilayah kerja perusahaan.
“Hingga saat ini, belum ada informasi yang terbuka kepada publik mengenai alokasi dana CSR oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Tarakan, termasuk peruntukannya. Padahal, asas manfaat bagi masyarakat seharusnya menjadi prioritas utama,” ujar Rahmawati saat di hubungi lewat telpon pada Selasa (5/8/2025).
Politisi Gerindra yang juga menjabat sebagai Ketua Dekranasda Kalimantan Utara itu menekankan bahwa keterbukaan informasi merupakan kewajiban perusahaan agar masyarakat dapat menilai sejauh mana kontribusi nyata yang diberikan kepada lingkungan sekitar.
“Kita selama ini tidak tahu berapa nilai CSR yang digelontorkan dan digunakan untuk program apa saja. Hal ini harus dibuka secara transparan agar masyarakat bisa ikut mengawasi,” tegasnya.
Sebagai langkah konkret, Rahmawati mengusulkan agar perusahaan-perusahaan di Kota Tarakan mulai mempublikasikan laporan pelaksanaan CSR secara berkala. Informasi yang disampaikan, kata dia, idealnya mencakup nilai anggaran, jenis program yang dijalankan, serta capaian di lapangan.
“Coba kita perhatikan masyarakat di sekitar wilayah operasi perusahaan. Apakah mereka sudah sejahtera? Seharusnya demikian. Kita harus membuka mata terhadap fakta yang ada,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, Rahmawati menyoroti belum adanya regulasi khusus dalam bentuk Peraturan Daerah (Perda) di Kota Tarakan yang mengatur pelaksanaan CSR secara spesifik. Padahal, menurutnya, kehadiran perda ini sangat penting untuk memperjelas tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan serta menjadi acuan hukum dalam pelaksanaan program CSR.
“Saya mendorong agar segera disusun dan disahkan Perda CSR di Kota Tarakan. Ini penting agar pelaksanaan CSR menjadi lebih terarah dan akuntabel,” pungkasnya.
